Soprano and Wyoming native, Bethany Smith-Jacobs holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Bethany is currently the choir director and voice instructor at Laramie County Community College, as well as the music director and lead vocalist at the First Christian Church in Cheyenne, WY.

Bethany is an avid performer. She has recently performed with Nova Center for Performing Arts, Boulder Philharmonic, Denver Opera Collective, and Opera on Tap-Colorado. Bethany most recently played the title role in Cinderella by Pauline Viardot at Rimrock Opera. Bethany was also seen as Micaela in Carmen at Rimrock Opera,Anne Page in the Loveland Opera Theatre production of The Merry Wives of Windsor, Laurentia from Dan Shore’s The Beautiful Bridegroom, among other roles. Bethany also sings with the Cheyenne Chamber Singers.
